Disclaimer — hiithere

1. No Guarantee of Matches or Relationships

hiithere is a platform that helps users discover and connect with other users nearby. We do not guarantee that you will find a match, relationship, or any specific outcome through the use of this app.

2. User-Generated Content

Profile information, photos, bios, and messages are created and submitted by users themselves. While we require selfie verification to confirm identity, we do not independently verify the accuracy of other profile details (such as age claims beyond ID checks, occupation, or personal descriptions) and are not responsible for any false or misleading information provided by a user.

3. User Responsibility for Safety

Meeting someone from the app, whether online (chat) or in person, is entirely at your own discretion and risk. We strongly recommend:

• Meeting in public places for first meetups
• Informing a friend or family member of your plans
• Not sharing sensitive personal or financial information with matches
• Trusting your judgment and discontinuing contact if something feels unsafe

hiithere is not responsible for the conduct, behavior, or actions of any user, whether on the app or outside of it, including during or after an in-person meeting.

4. Verification Limitations

Our selfie verification process confirms that a profile photo matches the person creating the account at the time of signup. It does not constitute a background check, criminal record check, or ongoing identity monitoring.

5. Reporting & Moderation

We provide report and block features, and may review reported content or remove users for irresponsible behavior. However, we cannot monitor all interactions in real time and do not guarantee that harmful or inappropriate behavior will be identified before it occurs.

6. Third-Party Services

Our app uses third-party services including Razorpay (payments), Vercel (hosting), and Google/Meta (analytics). We are not responsible for outages, errors, or issues arising from these third-party services.

7. "As Is" Service

hiithere is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, hiithere and its team shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to emotional distress, financial loss, or personal harm resulting from interactions with other users.

9. Age & Eligibility

This app is intended strictly for users aged 18 and above. By using hiithere, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. We rely on information provided during signup and verification to confirm this.

10. Changes to This Disclaimer

We may update this disclaimer from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated disclaimer.
